Created as part of my “Walking the Landscape” project when 2025 Artist in Residence at National Trust Avebury in Wiltshire, this relief sculpted, ceramic pot chronicles the experience of exploring the path down through the stones, along the West Kennet Avenue, up Waden Hill to see Silbury beyond and back past the ancient bridge to Avebury. The day was cloudy, sunny, windy and the land was alive with growth and promise.
