I live and work near Salisbury.

I have been creating ceramic portraits of dogs, horses and people for the last 12 years. On graduating from the Courtauld Institute of Art, I worked initially with silk, designing for domestic and church use. Then, for some years, I designed and painted clock faces before discovering how much more I enjoyed three-dimensional work.

If you are considering a sculpted portrait I can visit you to photograph the subject in their own environment. It takes about 1 hour.  The completed sculpture can be in naked fired clay, glazed ceramic or bronze resin. I can also liaise with a foundry for the work to be cast in pure bronze.

For a watercolour portrait I may well be able to work from a good quality, digital photo of your own.

If you think you might be interested in commissioning a sculpted or watercolour portrait do please get in touch with me initially via the Contact form and I will get back to you.
