Created in the June of my “Walking the Landscape” project as 2025 Artist in Residence at National Trust Avebury, Wiltshire. This relief-sculpted ceramic pot shares the experience of walking up to the barrow in high summer - the land is dry, the colours are the rich golds of harvest. Skylarks flit up from the just-harvested grain and swallows are nesting within the barrow.
